We always need great volunteers! You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer with our program - NO horse experience is necessary!

We ride Saturdays from 10am-1pm, Sundays from 1pm-4:30pm, and Mondays from 5-6pm.

All volunteers are required to attend a 3 hour training session. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sharee Liles (sharee@horseandbuddy.org).

When I think about what keeps me involved with Horse and Buddy is "the smell of the horses and the children's laughter". Then, of course what a great bunch of people to hang around with on a Saturday morning.

June 14, 2003 was my first day volunteering at Horse and Buddy so I consider today (June 13, 2005) my two year mark! I still can't believe I was so scared of the horses. : I was glued to Jessie for about 3 hours on my first day. Now, I can't wait to come to class and get ready for the riders. I just wanted to say that I've loved the first two years so expect a few more!! I can't wait until next year when we can use the new farm.
