Let’s start with this: please keep it a secret. 🤫

As you know, Holly is retiring after 25 years at Horse & Buddy. If you know Holly at all, you know she would never want a big send-off gift—we’re already stretching her comfort zone just by having a retirement party!

​

If you asked her what she would want, her answer would be simple: "Just donate to Horse & Buddy.” And truthfully, we also know she would love a warm and meaningful send-off from the people whose lives she’s touched.

With that in mind, we’ve created two ways to honor Holly.

Letters for Holly

We are creating a bound book of letters for Holly from anyone who would like to share a memory, a thank-you, or a short tribute. This is a chance to tell her how she has impacted your life, your rider, your family, or your time at the barn.

A Legacy That Lasts

Horse & Buddy has a small scholarship fund that helps therapeutic riding participants who need a little extra financial support. At Holly’s retirement celebration, we will be announcing that this fund is being renamed the Holly Confroy Scholarship Fund for Therapeutic Riding. Our hope is to share that announcement alongside the wonderful news that her friends, colleagues, riders, volunteers, and barn family came together to support it in her honor.
