Riders in our therapeutic riding program are taught by PATH certified instructors who teach riding skills in a safe and supportive environment. We offer both group and private lessons for individuals, 7 days a week, with a variety of special needs and abilities. Our goals for our riders are safety, riding skills/benefits, and FUN!  Riders of all skill levels often show progress in physical, emotional, and social skills. How to get started!

  1. Call the barn, or email Holly, our Program Director! We want to get to know you, or the person for whom you are calling. This conversation will allow us to answer any initial questions that you may have.

  2. Download the rider paperwork by clicking here.  Note that one form must be completed by your physician or pediatrician.

  3. Set up an appointment for a barn visit. We will meet with you and give you a tour of the facility. We can answer any more questions that you have. You can return the paperwork at that visit, email, snail mail, or return it in person later.

  4. Set up your first three evaluation rides.  These help us determine the most appropriate placement for your rider.

  5. Once the evaluation rides are complete, you can sign up for a permanent slot in our program (often the same day/time as your evaluation rides).

Scholarship funding may be available for those who qualify!!!

Contact the barn at (919) 367-7740 for more information.

Payment options are available online for your convenience.
