Beth Tanner was first introduced to Horse and Buddy when she was looking for a program for her youngest daughter to both give her daughter positive experiences with animals and provide another source of therapeutic intervention. Both Beth and her husband, Brentley, are North Carolina natives as well as fellow UNC - Chapel Hill and Campbell Law alumni. Beth practices law for the State of North Carolina as the Associate Director of the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission. Prior to her work at the Commission, Beth worked for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety -- representing both the state prison system and state juvenile justice department. Beth has also worked as a private attorney representing families in custody and divorce and healthcare providers. Beth has a passion for families impacted by developmental and physical disability.
